If the thought of being cooped up in the house for Family Day is making you anxious’€”salvation is at hand. The two-day Funatorium Explorium has mind blowingly fun activities for all ages that will turn Family Day into your new favourite holiday.
The Funatorium is divided into four fun zones. We cannot wait to hit the Play Space, where you can rock climb, spin on a giant gyroscope, bounce on an inflatable carousel, meet princesses and Star Wars characters or even learn to walk a tightrope. Little ones will be entertained with unique toys provided by Just Play Toy Rental.

When it’€™s time for a break (if it’€™s ever time for a break), move on to the Shared Experience Centres, where the whole family can learn a magic trick, try their hand at hip-hop dancing or set up a science experiment. Recharge over at Fun Central’s Main Stage, featuring performances by Ottawa legends The Cow Guys, magician Eric LeClerc and Brad the Balloon Guy’€”and be sure to be there at noon for the Ottawa Mascot Dance Party. Lastly, hand your kids a little pocket money and take a stroll through the MarketPlace, where all sorts of toys, goodies and activities can be found.

Good to Know: The Funatorium Explorium runs between 9 am and 5 pm on February 17 and 18 at the Ernst and Young Centre. Tickets are $20 per person per day when purchased in advance online or $75 for a family-of-four day pass. Children 3 years and under are free.
