Thank Your Teacher

No one enjoys the holidays more than children and nothing delights us moms more than watching their faces light up at this time of year. So when it comes to choosing a gift for them to give their teacher, it’s natural to want to select one that will bring a smile to everyone’s face.
We set off to find something great for the person who inspires them to learn, teaches them to tie their shoes and helps them make a ‘fancy’ card (for you). What kind of a gift says thank you for all that they do?

Fortunately, to help make the job a little easier, Indigo conducted a survey of more than one thousand Canadian Teachers*. The results? 9 out of 10 teachers put Indigo Giftcards at the very top of their wish-list this season. Given their appreciation for literacy, this number might not be a surprise. One teacher elaborated, saying ‘an Indigo Giftcard acknowledges my interest in reading but allows me to choose exactly what I want.’ Another said that ‘books are the gift that you can share and open again and again!’

Some of the more traditional teacher gifts include bath products, candles, mugs and chocolate; but teachers, like the rest of us, only have so much space. Plus, with a gamut of scents and tastes it can be tough to choose the perfect match. Indigo Giftcards are the gift that gives them the ability to choose exactly what they need or want from a wide selection of gifts, books, toys and more—this now includes eBooks!

You know what to do. Say thank you with the gift of choice to the person who spends the day helping your child be the best they can be.
