Great Bakeries in Vancouver

It’€™s hard to imagine that something perfect can be improved upon, but that’€™s exactly what’€™s been happening at Butter Baked Goods over the past month. Butter is getting bigger and better.
Butter Baked Goods has become well known in their local ‘€˜hood for their yummy cupcakes and Dunbar bars, and they’ve become a bit of a household name across the Lower Mainland since several grocery stores carry Butter’€™s homemade, melt-in-your-mouth marshmallows.

As Butter was bustling with successful business over the past five years, they were bursting out of their small Dunbar store’€”so they moved.

The new location is in Mackenzie Heights (33rd Avenue & Mackenzie Street), just a block from MacGillycuddy’€™s For Little People and Little House Tutoring. The bigger space allows Butter to bake up more tasty treats, dish up breakfast and lunch in their new cafe space (open Tuesday to Saturday), offer their new private label coffee, and’€”as a special treat’€”serve up waffles on Saturdays.

And while it seemed sad to see the bakery move to Mackenzie Heights, the happy news is that Butter is opening a tea house in their old Dunbar location, where they will offer their own private label tea, among other things. (Renos are underway for a November opening of the tea house.)

Boogie on over to Butter’€”we bet you’€™ll think it’€™s better. We also bet you’ll like the rest of these Great Bakeries in Vancouver.
