From Picasso to Prima Ballerina

Tapping into our kids’ creative side is a top priority for us moms, but when was the last time we considered an art or dance class of our own?
With these two adult-size ideas we found, you’ll be out-performing your kids in no time.

If you want to flex your muscles more creatively, then we recommend a class at iDance where beginners are always welcome.

Studio owner Jane Scallon makes it easy (she’s a savvy mom of four) by offering a wide variety of drop-in classes. You’ll find class options ranging from Ballet to Bollywood to the signature Dancer’s Body Bootcamp. And Jane has just sweetened the deal at the Vancouver location by offering morning childcare ($5 for the hour), so you can work up a sweat in the low-key studio (mats are provided but you’ll need a water bottle) while your little one plays next door.

Looking for something a bit more personal? Get a group together and customize a class just for fun or to celebrate a special occasion.
