Why You’ll Want to Attend the Originals Spring Craft Sale

Originals Spring Craft Show

If you want to browse over 180 of Canada’s designers, artisans and artists, you’ll want to plan to attend this upcoming four-day event from April 4-7, 2019 and visit the Originals Spring Craft Sale.

Once again being held at the EY Centre, the weekend-long sale is a gathering of Canada’s talented makers. You’ll be able to shop for the most unique gifts possible (think birthdays, Mother’s Day or upcoming bridal shower gifts that will truly stand out!) and you can make it a fun outing with friends and family.

Admission to the show is $7 (children 17 and under are free) plus readmission is free and unlimited over the course of the show. We love this because it means you could shop with a friend one day, then go back as a family. And because the event is four days long, and is open between 11 am until evening, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to find the best time to check it out.

This will mark the 33rd year for the show and if you’ve been before, you already know how many high-quality items you can find, including kids clothes, handbags, jewellery, skin care, pottery, original art, textiles and more. Not to mention, you can sip on a beverage as you shop if you like, thanks to the bar service available.

In addition, prizes can be won all weekend long, including the grand prize. One lucky winner will be invited back to the Christmas Signatures Sale with a $200 credit to spend! That’s a hefty shopping incentive.

Interested in going but not sure where to start?

Local shoppers may already recognize this Renfrew-based shop Nomadic Chicken that sells women’s clothing, handbags, accessories and clothing for kids. You’ll love the clothing like hoodies or grow-with-me-pants for the kids, but once you see the wraps, scarves and bags for yourself, you’ll be hooked.

We love one-of-a-kind items like blankets, pillows and dresses for the kids made by Thistledown Creations. If you are looking for a baby gift or special something for a child in your life, this is where you’ll want to find yourself during the show.

Pamper yourself with body products from Bee by the Sea, like their sugar scrubs, soap, washes, or their pretty tinted lip colours.

There’s nothing better than a cup of tea or coffee in a gorgeous pottery mug so we think you’ll want to swing by Muskoka Bay Pottery to check out their beautiful stoneware. You’ll also find bowls, plates and more but we are enamoured with their mugs!

There are so many vendors for you to check out this weekend!
