Spot for Tots

Now that your school-aged kids are back in the classroom (yippee), grab a coffee with a friend and take your toddler to The Coffee Tot.
Under new ownership (by a mom whose own kids are around to play), The Coffee Tot in McKenzie Towne is a cute combination of cozy and fun. Sit back in comfy seats around the perimeter of the cafe, while the play takes place right in the centre, making it easy to monitor your toddler as you enjoy your tea or coffee (read: no chasing kids with a hot beverage in hand).

Best for ages 0 to 4, the toys are all new and age appropriate. For moms, the coffee and teas will satisfy those looking for a latte or an organic leaf tea, homemade iced tea or any of their other tasty cold drink options. Snacks and lunches are available, including fresh fruit, gluten-free options, croissant sandwiches and more.

Good to Know: Open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Kids over 1 year are $5 (reduced fare for siblings), and 9 to 12 months are $1 (under 9 month-olds are free with a purchase). Birthday party rentals are available on Sunday. Socks are required.
