Culture Club

Please allow us to introduce you to some of the finest institutions our city has to offer. So fine indeed, that we would like to extend an invitation to you and your children to become members. It’€™s rather simple to join, you merely pay a fee and you’€™ll be privy to all kinds of delightful perks.
Here are a few of our favourites.

The ROM
The Goods: Dinosaur discoveries aside, there’€™s so much to dig about a ROM membership. Try a Family/Dual membership for $149.

The Perks: Unlimited access for one year (two adults and up to four kids under 17). Members are given first rights to register for the ROM’€™s popular and often wait-listed summer and March break camps as well as free access to the ROM’€™s Tiny Tots programming, savings on kids’€™ birthday parties (parties include scavenger hunts, a private tour and a pizza) and more.

Ontario Science Centre
The Goods: The OSC‘€™s Silver For Us membership program for $130.

The Perks: Visit as often as you like (note that kids under three are free). Members receive a $50 discount for camps and birthday parties, discounts at the on-site Mastermind Toy store and 50% off parking and IMAX films. During busy periods, members gain quick entry via the upstairs express access point.

Art Gallery of Ontario
The Goods: A $130 Family Membership provides your brood (two adults and up to five children under the age of 17) with unlimited access, including most special exhibitions.

The Perks: Free family events for members held throughout the year, private playdate bookings at the AGO‘€™s Hands-On Centre, 10% off at the shopAGO Kids! store and free coat check.

Toronto Zoo
The Goods: A Family membership is $160 for two adults and up to four children between the ages of 4 to 15. We recommend you purchase a parking pass‘€”available for members only’€”if you plan to visit often as each visit will cost you $10 to park.

The Perks: Admission 364 days a year, zoo members receive free rides on the Zoomobile (note: the Zoomobile train stops for the year after Thanksgiving) and discounts on programs, including Rise’€™N’€™Shine, Zoo Camps and early access to new exhibits and events.

It’€™s good to know we’€™re not alone in our belief that investing in kids should result in big benefits.
