Lessons in Gender Equality at My Daughter’s Ballet Class

There’s one boy in my five year old daughter’s ballet class. He is important, because boy dancers are so few, and bring needed balance and new possibilities to the art. I’ve discovered that the class is a mini-manual working towards gender equality. Here are my lessons learned.
