A Heartfelt Congratulations

I learned last week that one of our very savvy scribes—Andrea Tomkins—who contributes content for our Ottawa edition and also hosts her own very popular blog A Peek Inside the Fishbowl has won a prize. Not just any old prize, but second place in the Canadian Weblog Awards.
Impressive, yes, and even more so that the category in which she came second was the Lifetime Achievement category, which means that her blog has been up and running (and successful) since before January 2005. We happen to know she has been blogging since 1999 which makes her a bit of a pioneer.

We are very proud of Andrea and we are particularly pleased and honoured to have her as a part of the SavvyMom writing team—on the beat in Ottawa.
