Take time out to sip a latte while the kids work off that excess energy at Play A Latte, Calgary’s newest indoor play area for kids in the south east part of the city. With bouncy structures for all levels that include slides, as well as Rody Horses for those who like to roam, Play A Latte also has a baby area with play mats, a crawling tunnel and a playhouse (for those young ones who aren’t quite ready to bounce yet). A day of play costs $7.57 for kids, and is free for adults and kids under 18 months. You can also buy monthly or family passes if you see frequent bouncing in your future.
The on-site cafe offers fresh, low-sugar snacks, locally roasted coffee beans and free Wi-Fi. There’s a large list of fancy seasonal drinks to indulge in while your kids play. If you have a group of friends you’re hoping to catch up with, reserve tables at no extra charge. And if you’re not sure how busy it’s going to be, check their site in advance’red, yellow or green lights are constantly updated on the page to let you know how busy it is at the time.
