Canada’s 2013 MOMpreneur of the Year

So we’re proud to present the winner of the MOMpreneur Award of Excellence and our Top 10 Canadian Mompreneurs of 2013. Together with Parents Canada and The MOMPreneur Networking Group, we set out to find Canada’s top Mompreneur and award her over $30,000 in prizes. Along the way we discovered hundreds of inspirational stories of moms across the country who put their ideas and their dreams into action. From there, your votes narrowed the list down to the top 10 finalists.

Our judges, each a successful mompreneur in her own right, took over for the final assessment. The top 10 finalists were reviewed by them and now we’re proud to crown Jade Barr, founder of Jady Babys, maker of soft-soled boots for babies, Canada’s top mompreneur. She wins over $30,000 in cash and prizes designed to take her business to the next level.

Congratulations to Jade and the other top 10 finalists who worked diligently at gathering votes—and to all the 275 nominees of the award for your unique ideas, your courage to start something on your own and for the hard work you have put into your businesses.
