In association with Health Canada and the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission, Graco is issuing a recall of their Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchair. The Graco Table2Table Premier Fold 7-in1 Highchair is not included in the recall.
The affected units were sold from April 2017 to December 2017 at Babies “R” Us Canada, and at Walmart in the US between October 2016 and December 2017.
Model numbers affected
The affected chairs have the model number 2013805 or 1969721 and in Canada, the UPC Code 047406146475
The Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchair converts to six different modes. The model number can be found on a label on the back of the booster seat and on a label on the underside of the toddler seat. “Graco” and “Table2Table highchair” are printed on the label on the underside of the toddler seat.
The rear legs of the highchair can pivot out of position, making the chair unstable and causing a fall hazard.
While there have been no reports of injuries in Canada as of February 27th, 2018, the company has received 38 reports from US customers of the legs pivoting out of position, and 5 reports of bump and bruise injuries to children resulting from the chair tipping over.
Number of units sold
The recall affects approximately 3,200 units in Canada and approximately 36,000 units in the United States.
If you suspect you are in possession of one of the recalled units, stop using the chair immediately and call the company for a free repair kit.
