Luke’s Diner is Coming to Toronto and Vancouver
Calling all Gilmore Girls fans! Your dreams of sitting in Luke’s Diner, sipping coffee and gabbing with girlfriends can actually come true.
If you’re already rewatching all the old seasons in anticipation of the four-part event, A Year in the Life premiering on Netflix On November 25—then a visit to Luke’s should be on you pre-premier get-hyped checklist.
Over 200 local coffee shops across North America that will be transformed into Luke’s Diner for one day only. Yes, you heard it right! Lorelai’s and Rory’s favourite spot for coffee and conversation!
On Wednesday, October 5, the ‘Gilmoreversary’ of the show’s premier in 2000, you can hang out at everyone’s favourite Stars Hollow coffee shop and enjoy free coffee and a special surprise. The event starts at 7 am and runs until the coffee is out at 12 noon at each location.
I’ve just learned that The Rolling Pin on Yonge street will also create a special Lorelai & Rory Movie Marathon chef’s special doughnut to commemorate the occasion—a chocolate frosted doughnut with all the binging fixings like gummies and M&Ms. So, that’s where you’ll find me!
