A Mother’s Letter

‘€™s handprint cards, the coffee mugs and popsicle stick boxes, I still thought you guys might like to know what I really want on my special day.

Option A
I would love breakfast in bed’€”it doesn’€™t need to be fancy but coffee is a must! Maybe plan ahead and bring home some smoked salmon and a dozen fresh Montreal-style bagels from Kettleman’€™s or the Ottawa Bagelshop.

Option B
The best gift is the kind that keeps on giving, right? This is why a wine subscription from Savvy Company is such a great idea. Every month, an expert team of sommeliers chooses the best Ontario wines and delivers them right to your door. Imagine that! I’€™ll even share my wine with you.

Option C
How about we go all out this year and make reservations for Sunday brunch at the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello? There are two seatings’€”I’€™m thinking the 1:30 pm seating would be good’€”and it’€™s a fantastic food-filled experience that even the kids will enjoy (kids 11 and under eat for half price too).

Afterwards, you can take the kids to splash around in the hotel pool (it’€™s an extra $15 per person) while I check out the spa.

Option D
If the weather cooperates, I’€™d love to take a sunny stroll around the Ottawa Farmers’ Market with you and the kids. We can buy the makings for a special Mother’€™s Day dinner together’€¦I’€™ll explain how to make it for me when we get home.

Thanks honey. Remember, Father’€™s Day is just around the corner. XO Tested by Andrea T., Ottawa
