SavvyMom launches awards program to recognize the best products and services for kids and families.

TORONTO, June 19th, 2018 — Today, the SavvyMom Group, the largest provider of online content targeted to Canadian parents, is launching an annual awards program. The SavvyMom Awards will recognize the best products and services for kids and families.

The SavvyMom Group includes proprietary sites SavvyMom.ca, UrbanMoms.ca, BabyPost.com and partners SavvyMom Collective, ScaryMommy.com and She Knows Media. The SavvyMom Group reaches over 5.1MM parents (comScore April 2018) each month, with over 200k engaged readers and 70k+ newsletter subscribers coming directly from SavvyMom.ca.

Companies are invited to submit products for consideration in one or more of the 11 categories, which will be judged by a panel of parenting experts. The SavvyMom Awards will be presented at a gala event to be held in Toronto in the fall.

“SavvyMom is a trusted source for Canadian parents. For over a decade we’ve been able to reach our audience in a meaningful way, delivering practical solutions to everyday dilemmas,” said SavvyMom’s Vice President of Content, Natalie Milne. “We’re excited to continue to deliver resources to help real moms and to recognize the best brands and products out there. We want to help make choosing your first stroller or the book that’s going to hook your reluctant reader a little bit easier.”

The expert judges will be assessing each entry based on the following criteria:

  • Innovation: Does the entry break new ground in its respective field?
  • Influence: Has the entry made a significant impact on people’s lives? Is the impact measurable?
  • Execution: Was the functionality of the entry executed well in terms of user experience, aesthetic design, engagement, etc.?
  • Uniqueness: What differentiates the entry from other products in the baby, toddler or family market?

Entries to the first annual SavvyMom Awards are currently open and will be closing on August 31, 2018. To enter or to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, visit SavvyMom.ca/Awards.
