Dad’s Big Day

Sunday, June 21 is a happening day in the city. It also happens to be Father’s Day, so put aside the tie and give him a gift he’ll really love: the gift of a family outing to one of these amazing events across the city.

Get Active
The Jays take on the Orioles at 1:07 pm, but for a sporting event where everyone wins, let the kids challenge Dad and his BFFs to a game of kickball. Or grab the bikes and some gear and hit the Martin Goodman trail. Finish the ride at Ashbridges Bay with a pick-up game of volleyball. Game on!

Get Fed
Casa Loma hosts a Father’s Day BBQ full of food, activities and entertainment while Kensington Market is home to both the Father’s Day Sweets Tour and the Father’s Day Chocolate Workshop. Down by the waterfront, get your fill of two of Dad’s favourite things—beer and barbecue—by hitting up the Beach BBQ & Brews Festival, which is super family friendly, complete with a children’s area and rides.

No matter what you choose, play safe, have fun and if you do need something that comes in a box, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve planned Dad’s special day in the city. See more Father’s Day Outings He’ll Love here.
