Let’s Play Ball

Oh, to be a kid again. Going to ball games, eating hotdogs (sans the guilt) and believing that one day that pop-fly ball will land right in your glove.
So go on, get out to the ballgame with your kids. Every Saturday home game this summer is a Shoppers Drug Mart Jr. Jays Saturday game, and there is even more for the kids to get excited about. With all the free pre-game fun and activities you can handle, and of course the chance to run around the bases after the game, you could find yourself downtown for every Saturday home game.

Arrive early (about 11 am) at the Gate 5 stage for live performances and appearances by some of your favourite stars! The famous Jays’ mascot Ace, and his band of Jr. Jays dancers put on a show every Saturday (and you never know who might show up for it and sign autographs). Then head over to the Gate 10 Interactive Zone and enjoy inflatable rides, a pitching cage, face painting, balloon twisters, toddler crafts and more! (Did we mention that it’s all free?)
