Vancouver: The Savvy Guide to November

NovemberCalendar2009

Don’t stay home with your nose in your sleeve all month. Wash your hands and get out there (if you’re not sick, of course). We know November isn’t the most popular month on the calendar but there’s a lot to do to get organized and have fun. Here’s how…
DO
Get a head start on your holiday to do list
Why? Because you’ve got about eight weeks to buy gifts, wrap, plan parties, book sitters, decorate, bake, go to concerts…and look and feel great through it all so you can enjoy every single minute of the season. Take a deep breath and start that list now.

GO
Take in one of the live family theatre performances presented by Carousel Theatre. Choose from Good Night Moon and The Runaway Bunny for preschoolers or The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood for your school-aged children.
Why? Because kids of all ages love these classic stories and it is a great way to get them interested in drama.

GET
Warm stuff for the winter—and we don’t mean just the kids. Start with boots—we are loving the new FitFlop boots this winter. Grab a stylin’ but very warm hat with some gloves that you can find at the Gap (coming soon).
Why? Because you need to stay warm too (or else those kids will never get outside)
