Aquaventures Swim Centre

Their new facility in East Vancouver has two teaching pools that are individually filtered and disinfected using UV and chlorine and heated to Aquaventures’ trademark tropical warm temperatures. They offer classes all year and competition is fierce to register. Make sure you peruse the instructions on how to register well in advance of the registration dates.

Edmonds Community Centre

Fred Randall Pool at Edmonds Community Centre in Burnaby offers two pools and therapy lanes. The City of Burnaby has transitioned their swimming lessons from the Canadian Red Cross Swim Kids program to the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program and lessons are available year-round.

Hillcrest Aquatic Centre

Hillcrest is a favourite pool that offers swimming lessons in Vancouver through the City of Vancouver Parks & Rec. Lessons are available for parent and tots, 4 to 36 months, preschool swim lessons for age 3 to 5 years, kids’ lessons for ages 5 to 16, as well as adult lessons. All programs are certified by the Red Cross.

Killarney Pool
