Don’t Take Chances

What if?
No one likes to think about the what-ifs in our family’s lives. Particularly if they involve questions like what if my daughter cuts her hand? What if my son burns his arm? Or, what if my baby needs medical intervention like CPR?

Still, accidents happen, and the savviest way to prevent worrying about the future is to take control in the present. Invest in yourself and your family by taking a CPR and First Aid course.

If sitting in a cold gym with a bunch of strangers blowing into rubber dolls doesn’t exactly sound like your idea of a pleasant Saturday morning, think multi-purposing. Get a group of friends together, brew a pot of Rainbow Rooibos tea and learn some lifesaving skills.

Family First Aid is owned and operated by entrepreneur and mom of 2 toddlers, Erin Partridge. Erin is authorized to teach Red Cross Programs including the Emergency First Aid, CPR and even courses for your ‘tween including the Babysitter or People Saver.

For a group of 6 or more, Family First Aid will come to your home (or other location of choice) on weekends or in the evenings. She also has a classroom in the NW community of Edgemont if you’re stuck for space. Courses start at $100 for Emergency First Aid.

Want to get a jump on it? Family First Aid currently has a women-only course running Oct 13 and 14 at the Edgemont studio. Pre-crawling children welcome.

A Room to Grow, (one of our new faves) currently offers an eight-hour First Aid and CPR combined course at their Beltline location taught by paramedic and dad to one son (and one on the way), Christopher Brignall. The next scheduled course begins October 28th.
