Stroller Buying Tips
Family using an EasyWalker StrollerBuying a stroller is a difficult decision—there are a lot of considerations so it’s worth doing some research up front. A stroller should be designed and engineered for baby’s comfort and safety, while providing the parent superb maneuverability and comfort, in addition to ease of use.

When shopping for a stroller, consider the following factors. Make a list of which ones are most important to your family and look for the model that best meets your needs.

1. Ease Of Use
How easy is it to fold and unfold, engage the brakes, adjust the harness and backrest, adjust the seating, remove and install a car seat or carrycot, and access the storage basket?

2. Maneuverability
How does it handle on various types of terrain (uphill, downhill, pavement, grass, dirt and sand) and in various outdoor conditions (snow, rain)? Can it easily turn corners and or travel uneven surfaces? How easy is it to go through a standard doorway? Do your feet hit the back wheels when you walk or run with the stroller?

3. Safety
Does the stroller easily tip (what happens when you put a heavy diaper bag on the handles)? Does it have a good harness and breaking system? Does the frame have a safety locking mechanism?

4. Comfort
Does the stroller offer multiple seating positions, a height-adjustable and foam-covered handle, large swiveling wheels for multi-terrain usage, shock absorbers for a smoother ride?

5. Accessories/Options
Does the stroller come standard with or can additional accessories be purchased such as a carrycot, foot muff, toddler step-up board, UV-protective mosquito net or rain cover.

Strollers for More Than One Child
When shopping for a stroller for multiples, look at whether or not the stroller can be adjusted for the smallest to the biggest, in any combination (two seats, two carrycots, one carrycot and one seat, one car seat and one seat, or two car seats). Some double strollers have space for a second child to stand, but not to sit or rest.
