Valentine’s Day Events for Families in Vancouver

Valentine Events_Vancouver

If you don’t have a sitter or if you just like spending time as a family for Valentine’s Day, you’re in for a treat. There are some really fun things to do for Valentine’s Day together, with  lots of options for family date nights in the Lower Mainland. Love is in the air and it’s time to celebrate together.

Here are some of our best picks:

Rocky Mountain Flat Bread

On February 11, bring your family and let the kids make their own pizzas and do crafts together. The Dine Out menu is available for adults and kids are $8.50 each. Rocky Mountain Flatbread takes a “farm to pizza” approach with an appreciation for fresh, local ingredients. They are also an amazing local family dining option where the kids have lots of fun.

Hot Chocolate Festival

There are 35 participants with 75 crazy flavours in this year’s Hot Chocolate Festival. Take your little ones out to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa (or follow the walking map on their website and have lots of cups of hot chocolate!) Drink in the sweetness and celebrate the love with warm, delicious chocolate.

Bear Creek Train & Mini Golf

Are you looking for something to do further out in the Fraser Valley? All aboard the Valentine’s Day train! Hop on for a ride on the train, do some crafts at the crafting table and and get a hole-in-one with your whole heart on the mini golf course. It’s a fun way to show your family you choo-choose them!

Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks have a home game on Valentine’s Day and it’s a great way to show your love … of hockey. It’s easy to have a lot of fun at a Canucks game. If arena tickets are out of your budget, you can usually find a home game on the big screens at Boston Pizza. They also serve cool heart-shaped pizzas on Valentine’s Day that raise money for their youth mentoring program.

Whatever you choose, we hope you have a great Valentine’s Day and celebrate the love you have for each other in a unique, fun way. Happy Valentine’s Day!
