Wonderful Winners

Today’s the day we’ve all been waiting for…the official announcement of the winners of the 2008 SavvyMom Mom Entrepreneur of the Year Award. With 350 wonderful mom-run businesses in the running it was a tight race to be sure, but we’re thrilled to announce that Martha Scully of CanadianSitter.ca is Canada’s top mom entrepreneur, as voted by you, our SavvyMom readers. Joining her on the (virtual) podium are April MacKinnon of lovely online store, Nurtured Products for Parenting, our Atlantic region winner; Laura Berg from baby and toddler sign language company My Smart Hands, our Ontario region winner; Sundi Hoffman of children’s hair accessories company Bug a Lug, our Prairies region winner; and Annemarie Tempelman-Kluit of online publisher, yoyomama.ca, our BC & Territories winner.
