Chicken and Strawberry Kebabs

These no-cook kebabs are a perfect warm-weather dinner option when the mercury is rising and the stove needs to stay off. Kids can help by threading the skewers and shaking up the dipping sauce.

You’ll Need

  • ½ cup cubed chicken pieces (1” thick)
  • 1 pita, cut into 2” long strips
  • ½ cup grapes
  • ½ cup sliced kiwi
  • ½ cup cubed cheese
  • ½ cup strawberries, hulled
  • ½ cup chopped orange pepper
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Prep and Cook

  • To make the kebabs, thread the ingredients onto the wooden skewers, using the pita pieces at the beginning and end of each kebab. Serve with dipping sauce.
  • To make the dipping sauce, combine the first eight ingredients in a small lidded jar and shake until well combined; season with salt and pepper to taste.
