Netflix’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Implores You to Look Away—But Don’t!

The first of the big 2017 shows to premiere on Netflix is Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, an adaptation of the international best-selling children’s novels of the same name.

Admittedly, the episodes are eccentric, dark, strange, funny, and over the top, which as odd as it all sounds, actually worked. The viewer gets sucked into the bizarre fantasy world of the Baudelaire children and you can’t help but to keep watching to see how the next episode can possibly top the previous one.
