Life might not be a picnic, but on Mother’s Day it’s the word du jour. We like picnics because they are kid (and dad) do-able—allowing mom to be the guest of honour in her own house, backyard or park alongside her A-list attendees.
Let your children select the picnic headquarters (you are the guest after all) and expect to spread out at any one of Calgary’s top playgrounds, such as the Stampede-inspired play area at Prince’s Island Park.
