The bustling little cafe is a great hangout for moms looking for social interaction for themselves and their kids. We love the enclosed play area, with its colourful toys and climbers’safe for even the most adventurous of toddlers. Grab a cup of their Freakin’ Good Coffee, curl up in a comfy chair and maybe make a new mom friend.
Pull up a handy high chair or settle in at one of their wee princess tables. Order an adult plate for yourself and kid-friendly dishes for the little ones. We loved their chicken, turkey-bacon and avocado Panini’on bread made with flour from Watson’s Mill’combined with homemade Chicken Noodle Soup (heavy on the chicken). Preschoolers will enjoy the Grilled Cheese, with fruit on the side, and for the smallest member of your family, homemade organic baby food is also available.
Love the idea of playing hooky from cooking, but can’t quite make it out to the cafe? Play Time also offers a Dinner at Your Door service. Sign up online and a homemade meal made from locally sourced food (some from the cafe’s own garden) will be delivered to your home the following evening.
