The Wonderful Trunk Show

I just love the Children’s Trunk Show. I have been a supporter of it since its very first year in 2003 (as a shopper) and now I am proud that SavvyMom Media is one of the presenting sponsors of the show. It is a fantastic collective of very talented women entrepreneurs, all of whom support each other and seem to come up with the most creative and wonderful ideas year after year. I spent the day there this week and enjoyed every minute.
Each show brings new vendors who provide us with more fab finds to share with our readers but we also can witness the growth of some of the small businesses who started off in basements and are growing in size and scale to even supply huge retailers like Target.com. A very special congratulations to Mom Entrepreneur, Karyn Climans who created our fave helmet covers for kids called Tail Wags. After selling her wares at a number of shows in Canada, she has kicked up production and is selling across North America now. She is a great example of a mom entrepreneur success story.
