A Little Sunshine for Preschoolers
It’s no fun thinking about back-to-school season while we’re smack in the middle of enjoying the summer, but if you’re not all signed up for the next year yet, it can be tough to relax.
The good news is that Little Sunshine Academy is accepting applications for their inaugural September semester, accepting children between the ages of 3 and 5.
Located in Kerrisdale, this warm and inviting preschool boasts a 1:5 teacher-to-student ratio.
Parents will be interested in the diverse curriculum offered at Little Sunshine, using unique materials and encouraging children to challenge themselves independently with teachers as their trusted guides.
The unique philosophy of Little Sunshine encourages the growth of life skills and intellect. The structured curriculum helps children develop their natural tendencies to be inquisitive, creative and confident. Children learn the concepts of compassion, respect and honour through structured play.
Open houses will be held July 31 ‘ August 2 at 208 ‘ 2031 West 41st Avenue. Parents can view the space, interact with the curriculum and explore various stations. Stations include LED light tables and an activity tray system, where children can use sculpting sand, which moulds like clay without water, but has the texture of sand.
