The 80’s apparently are enjoying a bit of a comeback. Who knew? Black leggings, baggy shirts, even leg warmers have been spotted around town.
Don’t laugh – hold those thoughts of your youth. We’ve found the perfect blend of 80’s style with the millennium mom-preneur sensibility for babes.

So Many Tomatoes, So Little Time

Mmmmmmm. Note big juicy, plump and perfectly ripened local fresh tomatoes. Must buy, cook and freeze for winter months.
Looks like a lot of tomatoes though. Not so organized this week. Maybe just a few for salad, hate to waste…

Do have time for frozen dessert section though.

Basic Training

Chocolate chip, vanilla, strawberry frozen yogourt, Bovinity Divinity, Makin’ Whoopee Pie, the list goes on (and on).
A good old fashioned trip to the ice cream store with the kids will never go out of style – no matter how outrageous the flavours get.

Not the Fashion

There’s a growing and alarming trend out there (and no, we’re not talking about the skinny stovepipe jean).
According to the Allergy Asthma Information Association, 2 – 4 % of Canadian children are affected by food allergies, with the same number being at risk for anaphylaxis due to allergies, and it’s an increasing public health issue.
