Stroll the ROM this Fall: Baby & Me Classes are Now Open for Registration

ROM Baby Classes Toronto

When I was a newbie Mom, after the fog had lifted and my head began to clear, I went searching for anything and everything I could do to get out of the house with my weeble and interact with other adult humans.

If I could find something to do to pass part of the day away, and also enjoy myself at the same time, I was golden. That’s why I now have a soft spot in my heart for anything ‘Mom & Baby’ and try to share it with all the newish Moms out there.

This one from the Royal Ontario Museum sounds neat. (Thanks to my friend Amy for pointing it out to me!)

Baby & Me Strolling the ROM

The ROM has a 6-week fall program (you have to register for it) that offers you the opportunity to hang out with other parents and caregivers, talk to real-life adults who likely won’t judge you if you ask them about your baby’s poo, and you get to learn at the same time.

The really cool thing is, you get a Museum Teacher as a guide and get to explore a different gallery in the ROM every week.

Grown-ups, cool stuff to learn and adult conversation—all while hanging out with your wee babe. Sounds pretty great to me.

The only kicker is that registration for the program is required and slightly expensive, and the website says that there are limited spaces available. But, if your little one is 2-years-old or younger and you don’t mind planning ahead, this program seems like a great way to get out of the house during the fall and winter.

The Details:

Cost for the 6-week series: $180 for the general public, $160 for ROM members

Registration is for one adult with a child 2 years old or younger only.
