Best Educational (and Fun!) Apps for Kids

Best Apps

MAAAYYYYBBBEEE you’re a little worried that your kids didn’t really grasp everything in their curriculum this year.

And maybe you’d be into some supplementary learning that wouldn’t involve MORE online school.

So no matter where you stand on the great screen time debate, if your kids are going to be online, it might be nice if they learned something. And if that “something” isn’t fun, they won’t engage. Most teachers will tell you that some of our kids’ best learning happens when they don’t even know they’re doing it.

Mind. Blown.

So we’ve pulled together some of our favourite fun and educational apps for kids so you can feel better about handing them an iPad for the first or the tenth time this week. Or to supplement what they did or didn’t learn this year.

Whether it’s astronomy or animals, reading or math, there’s something here for every age and almost any interest.

Happy downloading!

Hi! I wanted to share an amazing app for kids that not only teaches them about the environment and nature, but also provides them with tangible activities and missions they can complete in real life. It’s called the Earth Rangers app, and was created by the Canadian kids environmental organization Earth Rangers. Kids can become members for free, and unlock habitats and different wildlife along their journey!
