Looking for somewhere to take the kids this month? Somewhere warm and dry where they can explore their creativity?
The Glenbow Museum offers ‘€˜Weekend at the Museum’€™ three times a year, when the exhibition floors are filled with programs and events specifically geared towards families. Inspired by the varied art exhibitions currently on at Glenbow, the next Weekend at the Museum takes place Saturday, March 17 – Sunday, March 18, and will feature activities filled with art-making, performances and storytelling.

Create a water colour landscape, mould a critter out of clay, or even make an animal finger puppet in one of the many exciting hands-on activities available all weekend. Kids young and old will be fascinated by a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum, or love taking part in a group jam session with Kris Demeanor. Good to know: Registration is required for some programs.

Admission is $32 for a family of two adults and up to four children (or free for members), and all activities, workshops and supplies are included. Or you can enter our Weekend at the Museum Contest for a chance to win the grand prize of a one-year family membership to the Glenbow Museum (valued at $90) or one of two family passes to the Weekend at the Museum (valued at $32).

Go to the Glenbow. It’€™s all about art!
