Here comes Peter Cottontail—which means spring has finally sprung! We can’t wait to get out and celebrate Easter weekend with these fantastic family activities.
Tremblant always makes for a nice day trip at any time of year, but it’s especially worth the drive for Easter weekend. From 9 am to 3 pm on April 5, hit the resort for a day of decorating eggs, making Easter baskets, and hunting for chocolate, then cap things off by adding an ornament to the Easter tree. With this year’s weather, there’s a great chance that you’ll still be able to ski and snowshoe, too. Offsite, there are sleigh rides and dogsledding—and a lovely spa if you can manage to squeeze in a little ‘me’ time.
Closer to home, we’ll be spending the day petting as many bunnies as we can. The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is always a favourite. This year, they’ve added a Signs of Spring trivia game to their classic egg hunt and baby animal visits. We’ll also be taking the kids to the super sweet Valleyview Little Animal Farm, which opens on Easter weekend. The owners will be celebrating with an egg hunt in addition to their usual train rides, puppet shows, feeding barn, and awesome play structures.
Hippity, hoppity, happy Easter day!
