Next time the weather’s fine and you’re thinking of going out for pizza, consider taking a trip down to Westboro Beach. Bet you didn’t know that Moe Attalah of Moe’s World Famous Newport Restaurant runs a licensed patio right there on the Ottawa River. You won’t believe this, but the patio serves the same amazing pizza his restaurant is so famous for: cheesy, hearty, and oh-so-delicious. Did we mention it was cheesy?
And, although the pizza is the big draw, why not make a family outing of it?
- Call the City of Ottawa Beach Info line at (613) 580-6744, ext.13219. The automated message will indicate if water quality is acceptable for swimming at each of the four supervised beaches.
- Bring bathing suits, towels, sunscreen and plenty of sand toys. Lifeguards are on duty from noon to 7 pm every day.
