Recycled Crayon Hearts
You’ll Need:
- Old crayons
- Silicone heart-shaped mini cake tins
- Double-sided tape
- Cardstock
- Marker
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 250°F, and place a rack in the centre of the oven.
- Remove any existing wrappers from the crayons, and snap them into small pieces. Fill the cake tin with crayon pieces, arranging them into interesting colour patterns, if desired.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, or just until the waxes have melted. Cool completely, and then remove the hardened shapes from the mold.
- Using double tape, affix a crayon heart to a piece of cardstock and write a sweet valentine message on the paper with the marker.
