Simply double the recipe while you are preparing the above meals and freeze for another night.

You’ll Need

  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • 8 lb ground turkey breast
  • 4 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 2 lemons, juice and grated zest
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Freezer bags

Prep and Cook

  • 1
Sauté the celery and apples in canola oil until tender, then set aside to cool.
  • 2
Place the ground turkey in a large mixing bowl. Add sautéed items and the remaining ingredients.
  • 3
Divide mixture in half. Shape one half into eight 8-ounce burgers and use remainder to form bite-size meatballs.
  • 4
Wrap patties in plastic wrap and store in freezer bags (don’t forget to remove as much air as possible).
  • 5
Freeze meatballs on cookie sheet before storing in freezer bag.
  • 6
Cook from frozen. Season the turkey burgers and meatballs with salt and pepper. Place on a preheated, lightly oiled grill. Grill each side for 7 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked.
  • 7
    Let sit for 5 minutes.
