Bouncy Ball Valentines

You’ll Need:

• Bouncy balls
• Black or blue cardstock
• Scissors
• Gel pen or metallic marker
• Craft knife

Directions:

1. Cut a large heart out of scrap paper using scissors. Inside the heart, use a craft knife to cut a hole that’s slightly smaller than the ball. The ball should fit tightly and stay in place. This is your template for the valentines.
2. Trace the heart with hole onto pieces of cardstock and cut out. Draw stars and write a message with the gel pen or metallic marker.
3. Insert the ball into the hole so that half of the ball is behind the paper and half is in front.
4. Write the recipient’s name on the back of the paper, or save a small space on the front of the heart for it.

Good to Know: Bouncy balls can be purchased in packages of 5 or 6 at most dollar stores, or individually at party supply stores for less than $1 each.
