Budget, Borrow and Bounce

The Questions:
Mom, can I have a jumper?
Mom, can I have a car that really drives?
Mom, can I have a play house?

The Answers:

Maybe you can ask Santa for that.
Put that one on your birthday list.
Save up your allowance and maybe you can buy it yourself.

There is an alternative. Rather than buy…rent.

There are two gigs in town that buy and store those big-ticket, bulky toys for you. Your job is to reserve, rent and play (and recycle).

Playtime Toy and Party Rentals recently relocated to the central northwest neighbourhood of Highwood to house an indoor play place in conjunction with their toy rental business. Owners Melinda Gravelle and Melissa Skoflic split their space down the middle. It works well. Your kids can play while you decide what to take home.
