Mixed Green Veggie Salad
- 6 sausages (any flavour will do, but we like spicy Italian and turkey)
- 6 sausage buns (crusty, whole grain, Ciabatta), warmed
- Variety of relishes (tomato, onion, dill, corn)
- Variety of mustards (Dijon, honey, yellow)
- Grilled onion slices (optional)
- Ketchup/BBQ sauce
Prep and Cook
- 1Preheat grill to 375 degrees.
- 2Place the sausages directly on the grate and grill over a medium fire, turning occasionally, until cooked through or until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
- 3Do not prick or slash the skin during cooking, as this causes the juices to escape.
- 4Place the sausages in the buns, top with generous spoonfuls of relish, mustard, grilled onions, and ketchup.
