Our Editor’s November Picks

270x180_NovemberRoundUp

Every month, I am amazed to see how much amazing, fun and practical information we’re able to deliver our readers from our dedicated team of SavvyMoms at HQ and across the country. This month was no exception. In fact, it was one of our busiest and best ever. In case you missed a little bit of Savvy last month (I know you’re busy) here’s a round-up of the best stuff we sent.
Right now the shelves are still stacked with gift ideas that were being tested for our recent Top Gifts Under $25 gift guide as well as the SavvyMom Guide to the Holidays. I hope they helped you cross a few things off the list this year (there is still time to shop online). Be sure to look through the articles included in the Holiday Guide as well—there are some great tips from sticking to your budget to finding Santa online to making DIY gifts.

There was some great content on the blogs as well—Sarah had a book recommendation for those of you who might be looking for some quiet time this month (good luck with that) and some great tips from our very own readers about how to save our seasonal sanity.

From the experts—there was a lot of interest in the picky eating article by Daina Kalnins & Joanne Saab (no surprise there) and the Potty Training Primer from Alyson Shaffer.

Cranberries are a classic seasonal ingredient and our cranberry recipes on EatSavvy were a big hit this month. I know the Pumpkin & Cranberry Loaf for toddlers and the Chicken & Cranberry Pasta for the Family Meal received a lot of attention. You should try them.

Finally, we’re excited about the introduction to our site of the SavvySmiles. They’re fun, clever and witty—and we thank Cathy Thorne for her creative genius and her patience with us in getting them onto the SavvyMom newsletter and website.

What did you enjoy the most on SavvyMom last month? We would love to know.
