Midweek Pasta Sauce with Grilled Sausage


You’ll Need

  • 1 jar tomato/spaghetti sauce
  • ½ red bell pepper (grilled or raw)
  • ½ yellow bell pepper (grilled or raw)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Leftover grilled sausage, sliced into rounds

Prep and Cook

  • Pour tomato sauce into storage container, add peppers, basil and any other vegetable you may have on hand.
  • Add sausage slices to the tomato sauce, cover and refrigerate/freeze.
