Making Breakfast Is as Easy as…A, B, C!

Busy Morning Breakfast Plan - SavvyMom

With busy school mornings being a thing again, I think it’s time to turn our attention to breakfast. It doesn’t seem to matter how prepared you think you are, you still wake up every day wondering what to feed your hungry people.

So this week, I’m giving you a breakfast meal plan of sorts. Five suggestions that you can either print or write down, along with the recipes, in order to be ready for the week to come. I’ve tried to break up carb-heavy mornings with ones that are more protein-packed and fruity good.

5-Day Breakfast Plan for Weekday Mornings

Day 1:

The Very Best Breakfast Loaf with hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit.
A hearty and satisfying start to the week.

Day 2:

Breakfast Sushi and Rainbow Smoothies
Some Tuesdays require a cute start to keep the momentum going.

Day 3:

Pumpkin Quinoa Muffins and Avocado Banana Smoothies
On Wednesdays we eat quinoa.

Day 4:

Frittata and yogurt with fruit
Hakuna frittata — it’s a wonderful thing!

Day 5:

Baked Oatmeal and fresh sliced fruit
It’s Friday! We’re in love with this delicious weekday brekkie that feels like a Sunday morning…

Alternatively, you could always try eating like the French for a week. We did it as an experiment, and while lunches were a bit challenging, my kids loved their European-style breakfasts each morning.

How are your weekday mornings going? Have you found a breakfast that your kids just love to eat? Please share!
